If you had to get a tattoo right now, what would it be and why?
I would prepare two one in right hand and other left hand.
In right hand I draw peacocks symbol since it’s the pet for Lord Murugan.
In left hand, I will draw Jesus Cross symbol.
I don’t believe in religious faiths but Lord Murugan is a Tamil warrior. Also Jesus Cross for sustainable symbol for 2000+ years. It’s a historical wonder.
How did you meet your significant other?
There are three women I have never forgotten, including my wife, with whom I have shared 38 years of marriage with very little conflict.
The first was my childhood friend. We were very fond of each other, and I believe the feeling was mutual. Unfortunately, family conflicts came in between us, and we eventually went our separate ways.
The second was a one-sided love during my college days. She always saw me only as a friend. After a long gap, we met again, and we are still friends today.
The third is my wife. In India, marriages are often arranged by parents, but when both the bride and groom like each other, the marriage happens. That is how I met her.
Even before our marriage, I started wearing a ring with her name initial. In our wedding invitation, I referred to her as my “most loving angel.” ❤️
We have now been together for 38 years. Through all these years, our love and companionship have remained strong. Today, we are both senior citizens, and we still enjoy loving, caring for, and teasing each other.
Looking back, life has taken me through different kinds of love—but I feel fortunate that the love I married has lasted a lifetime. ❤️🙏
If you could relive one day from your past, which day would it be and why?
In my daughter’s reception I exploded towards two servants at dinner as their way no human. I want to reverse it by relieving that incident. Because everyone knew my behaviour was not good.
What’s the last movie that made you cry?
I love Heart Beat Seasons. In Season 2, the heroin came to know who is her father, a known doctor in the hospital where she worked. Her mother, boy friend and all people who know the truth didn’t reveal . When she come to know she hate everyone and on her emotional run away met accident and got admitted in the same hospital her father also comes to know she is his daughter. I cried in this last episode. My wife asked why are you crying? I couldn’t answer. I watched few times again and again. Good direction made old professor to cry. Congratulations the team.
If you could erase one event from history, what would it be?
Like everyone, I loved my mother very much. When I was twenty five, during not even a month of my first job, my mother expired. She was just 55 but diabetic. In those days 1983, not much specialist for it. We couldn’t save her.
If I would erase her death just postpone for another two decades, I would have taken care very much. In our family and society we don’t use family name instead use caste name. I have named my daughters with my mother’s name as family name.
What’s a conspiracy theory you actually find believable?
It has been proved in courts and accepted by gotse that he had planned to kill Mahatma Gandhi. If he was alive, india could have been more lovable and peaceful for all irrespective of religion.
How do you deal with uncertainty?
If it’s a delayed one, accepting it and I don’t be in anxiety.
It’s an acknowledgement for something great going to happen.
Leave it , don’t be too excited. Anything going to happen will happen in either way. So ready to face it.
Leave it to nature’s turn, move on to other activities.
If it’s not in our control, accept uncertainty with grace.
What’s a moment when you realized you were officially an adult?
I used to go outside with my parents to movie halls. One time I got money from parents and went to a nearby movie hall. I didn’t afraid but felt it’s an achievement by myself. This was in 1977.
Which is the best restaurant in your city?
Sri Annapoorna is famous for vegetarian dishes. Sambar idly, vada, Roast and coffee are brands here.
Hari bhavan is known for nonveg. Chicken, Mutton briyani, Vanjaram Fish fry are some of special items here.
