My mother’s death

If you could erase one event from history, what would it be?

Like everyone, I loved my mother very much. When I was twenty five, during not even a month of my first job, my mother expired. She was just 55 but diabetic. In those days 1983, not much specialist for it. We couldn’t save her.

If I would erase her death just postpone for another two decades, I would have taken care very much. In our family and society we don’t use family name instead use caste name. I have named my daughters with my mother’s name as family name.

It is a beautiful reminder that the history that matters most to us is our own personal history. The way you honored your mother’s name through your daughters is incredibly special.
