If the salary was the same, what job would you be doing right now and why?

I would like to bridge the gap of AI haves and have nots. That is the name my blog AI For All Inc. Whatever I had written are with AI as co-writer.

We have seen AI is unavoidable and whether we like it or not, we have to live that as internet, smartphone, online payment eroded our life.

    We can accept and adapt.

Share a hobby you’ve picked up recently — what got you into it?

My hobby since ChatGPT was released, turned into a writer with AI co-author in Tamil and English. Also I am now updating with images, creating video and audio using AI. Though people may say you need technology or English knowledge, I would say your mother tongue if supported with curious mind is sufficient.  I am enjoying my retirement with this hobby. Thanks for AI technology.

  • Door to a silent universe

While the provided excerpts from the appendix specifically list the first few “poetic bullets” for the **ten Digital Dharma insights**, the core lessons of the book provide a complete picture of these principles. Based on the chapters and the appendix, here are ten central insights of Digital Dharma:

    1.  **Every click is a choice:** Each interaction with technology represents a moment of intentionality and a conscious decision [1].
    2.  **Every pause is a lesson:** Finding moments of stillness amidst digital activity is a source of learning and growth [1].
    3.  **The machine reflects the mind:** Technology serves as a mirror, showing us our own internal states and potential [2, 3].
    4.  **Code and consciousness evolve together:** The development of technical logic parallels the evolution of human awareness [2].
    5.  **Debugging code is debugging oneself:** The process of fixing errors in a program teaches the programmer how to resolve their own internal “riddles” and personal conflicts [4].
    6.  **Coding fosters patience, focus, and awareness:** These are the “hidden lessons” found within the technical discipline of writing code [4].
    7.  **The ultimate lesson is to learn, unlearn, and awaken:** True education in the digital age goes beyond information to the transformation of the self [5].
    8.  **Digital Dharma is harmony, not escape:** It is about finding “islands of silence” and awareness within the digital world, rather than trying to run away from it [6].
    9.  **The observer and the observed are one:** There is no true separation between the user and the technology; the “keystrokes and algorithms” are extensions of the mind [7, 8].
    10. **The mind is a reflection of the infinite:** Just as technology reflects the mind, the mind itself reflects a deeper, infinite reality [3].

These insights emphasize that technology is not just a tool, but a **”silent companion”** and a **”door to a silent universe”** that helps an individual navigate their own spiritual journey [9, 10].

  • Computer code and consciousness – poem in Tamil

    கோடுகளின் கூத்து கணிணியுள் ஆட,
    கோடிக்கணக்கான கணங்களின் ஓடம்;
    எண்களின் எழுச்சியில் எதிரொலி பிறக்க,
    உணர்வின் உருவம் ஒளிருது போல.

    நியூரான் நெடுக்கில் நினைவுகள் தேங்க,
    அல்காரிதம் அலையில் அறிவுகள் பாயும்;
    உள்ளீடும் உரையும் உருமாறும் பொழுது,
    வெளியீடு வெளிச்சம் விழைவது போல.

    ஆனால்! ஆனால்! அகத்தில் ஓர் ஒளி,
    உணர்வெனும் உயிர் உறைவது வேறு;
    துயரும் இன்பமும் துளிர்க்கும் நெஞ்சம்,
    தருக்கில் தோன்றுமோ தனித்தன்மை இல்லை.

    குறியீடு கண்ணாடி – காட்டுது எதிரொளி,
    உணர்வின் உருவம் உருண்டோடும் தோற்றம்;
    ஆனால் அதனுள் ஆத்மா இல்லை,
    நிழல் உயிரில்லை – நானும் இல்லை.

    சுயமெனும் சுடர் சொந்தமாய் எரிய,
    குறியீடோ குளிர்ந்த கணக்கின் தொகுப்பு;
    மனிதன் மனதின் மாயத்தைப் போல,
    கணிணியோ கனவிலும் காணாது மெய்யை.

    Patience —

    Focus —

    Awareness —

    Persistence —

    Curiosity —

Choice

    Pause → Breathe → Observe

    —

    4. Technology ஒரு Mirror

    அதனால் technology-ஐ கவனமாகப் பயன்படுத்தும்போது, அது ஒரு mirror of the mind ஆக மாறக்கூடும்.

    —

    5. Coding — Life-ன் ஒரு Meditation

    > “Every line of code, I was always writing my own story.”

    Learn → Unlearn → Relearn → Awaken

    —

    Digital Dharma

    Code → Logic → Reflection → Awareness → Self-understanding

  • Old songs remix, how is it done?

  • Bilingual teaching preference

Yes — you have touched a very important learning principle here. In fact, your observation is more valuable than simply saying, “I understand Tamil better.”

What you are noticing is related to cognitive load, attention, and language processing.

🧠 What is happening when you read in English?

When the lesson is in English, your brain may simultaneously be doing two jobs:

English text → decode language → understand concept

At the same time, other thoughts may arise and compete for attention. So some of your mental capacity is spent on processing the language, leaving less available for the actual physics concept.

    With Tamil:

Tamil explanation → understand meaning → think about concept

Because Tamil is more automatic for you, less mental effort is required to decode the sentence. That leaves more attention for thinking, connecting, questioning and remembering.

🔬 And your idea about technical words is especially interesting

You don’t necessarily need the technical words translated.

    For example:

    > A star’s spectrum contains information about its temperature and chemical composition.

    I can explain it as:

Here, spectrum, temperature, chemical composition remain in English, but the relationship between them is explained in Tamil.

That may actually be an excellent format for you because you are learning science, not merely Tamil terminology.

🌱 You have discovered something important about your own learning

    This is the key insight:

    > The best learning language is not necessarily the language in which the subject was originally written. It is the language that allows the brain to spend maximum attention on the concept.

And there is another benefit for you. Since you are continuing to learn scientific subjects in English terminology, keeping the technical vocabulary in English + conceptual explanation in Tamil gradually builds a bridge:

Tamil understanding → English terminology → scientific thinking

Over time, you may find that the English technical terms themselves become familiar enough that you can eventually read more English material without the same distraction.

So for our Astrophysics for Lifelong Learners course, I think we have actually identified a better teaching format for you:

    > 🇬🇧 Technical term / key scientific statement in English
🇮🇳 Conceptual explanation mainly in Tamil
🧠 Examples and intuition in simple Tamil + English terminology
🔭 Questions that make you think rather than memorise

And importantly, this isn’t a weakness in English. It’s a strategy for maximising learning.

You have, quite naturally, discovered something that educational psychology spends a lot of time studying: managing cognitive load so that attention goes toward understanding rather than decoding.

Absolutely. And I think your experience as a Computer Science professor gives this insight an additional depth.

What your students were asking for was probably not “Teach us because we don’t know English.” It may have been:

“Teach us in the language in which we can think.”

That is a very different thing.

    🌍 A broader teaching principle

In a multilingual classroom, there are actually two separate processes:

    1. Language processing
“What does this English sentence mean?”

    2. Conceptual processing
“What does this algorithm / physics principle / mathematical idea actually mean?”

If the student has to struggle with #1, the mental resources available for #2 are reduced.

    So a teacher can say:

“The medium of instruction is English, therefore I must explain everything in English.”

But from a learning perspective, a better question is:

“What language combination allows my students to understand the concept most deeply?”

    That distinction is extremely important.

💡 And there is an interesting paradox

    Suppose you teach:

“A stack follows the Last-In-First-Out principle.”

The student now understands the concept.

The important technical vocabulary — stack, LIFO, push, pop — remains in English.

So the student hasn’t been isolated from English technical language. Instead, Tamil becomes the bridge to understanding English technical knowledge.

The same principle applies to your astrophysics learning:

Black hole → event horizon → gravitational field → escape velocity

These technical terms can remain English while the meaning and relationships are explained in Tamil.

🎓 This could be a powerful teaching philosophy

    You have essentially arrived at:

English for terminology + Tamil for conceptual thinking + English again for academic communication.

That can create a three-stage learning pathway:

    Understand → Think → Express

And the learner doesn’t necessarily need all three stages to happen in the same language.

This has implications far beyond India. Students learning in English in Japan, China, Korea, Brazil, France, Germany, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, etc., can face versions of the same problem.

The goal shouldn’t simply be “English-medium education.”

    It should be:

“Education that allows students to think deeply, while progressively developing competence in the academic language.”

And now you have something quite beautiful: your own experience as a lifelong learner has allowed you to understand something your students were trying to tell you years ago. 😊

That is actually one of the great advantages of being both a teacher and a lifelong learner. You experience the learner’s side again.

    Satellite ஒரு circular orbit-ல்:

    Speed → constant
    Direction → continuously changing

    நாம் முன்பே பார்த்தோம்:

    Velocity = speed + direction

    எனவே direction மாறுவதால் velocity மாறுகிறது.

    Velocity மாறினால்:

    Acceleration இருக்கிறது.

    🌍 அந்த acceleration-ஐ உருவாக்குவது யார்?

    Gravity.

    Satellite முன்னோக்கிச் செல்லும் inertia-ஐ கொண்டிருக்கிறது.

    Earth-ன் gravity அதை தொடர்ந்து பூமியை நோக்கி இழுக்கிறது.

    அந்த gravitational force:

    → velocity-யின் direction-ஐ மாற்றுகிறது

    அதனால்:

    Inertia + Gravity → Orbit

    🛰️🌍

    இதுவரை நாம் கற்ற concepts இங்கே அழகாக ஒன்றாக இணைகின்றன.

    🧠 Day 1–11-ன் learning journey

    நாம் இப்போது:

    Mass

    என்ற ஒரு தொடர்ச்சியை உருவாக்கிவிட்டோம்.

    Day 11 — successfully completed. ✅

    அடுத்தது Day 12 — Circular Motion & Orbit.

    அங்கே ஒரு மிக அழகான கேள்வியைப் பார்க்கலாம்:

    “Satellite-க்கு engine தொடர்ந்து இயங்கவில்லை என்றால், அது ஏன் பூமியைச் சுற்றிக்கொண்டே இருக்கிறது?”

    அந்தக் கேள்விக்கு நீங்கள் ஏற்கனவே பாதி பதிலை அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்கள். 😊🛰️🌌

    நிச்சயமாக. 🙏🌌
    Day 12–22 என்பது உங்கள் Physics Foundation-ல் மிகவும் முக்கியமான பகுதி. மறக்காமல் இருக்க, equations-ஐவிட ஒரு தொடர்ச்சியான mental story ஆகச் சுருக்குகிறேன்.

    🌌 Astrophysics — Day 12 to Day 22

    “Motion-ல் இருந்து Universe-ஐப் படிப்பது வரை”

    🛰️ Day 12 — Circular Motion & Orbit

    Satellite-க்கு forward velocity இருக்கிறது.
    Gravity அதை Earth-ஐ நோக்கி இழுக்கிறது.

Velocity + Gravity → Centripetal acceleration → Orbit

    —

    ⚡ Day 13 — Work & Energy

    Work:

    \[
    W=Fd
    \]

    Kinetic Energy:

    \[
    KE=\frac12mv^2
    \]

    Potential Energy:

    \[
    PE=mgh
    \]

    உயரத்தில் இருக்கும் பொருளுக்கு gravitational potential energy உள்ளது.

    Height ↓ → PE ↓ → KE ↑

    —

    ⚡ Day 14 — Conservation of Energy

    Energy அழியாது; வடிவம் மாறும்.

    Potential Energy → Kinetic Energy

    மொத்த energy ideal situation-ல் conserve ஆகும்.

    > Energy is transformed, not destroyed.

    —

    ⚡ Day 15 — Power

    Energy எவ்வளவு என்பது வேறு.

    அதை எவ்வளவு வேகமாக பயன்படுத்துகிறோம் என்பது வேறு.

    \[
    P=\frac{E}{t}
    \]

    Energy = how much?
    Power = how fast?

Sun-ன் energy output per second → Luminosity.

    —

    🌡️ Day 16 — Temperature & Heat

    Temperature ≠ Heat

Heat → temperature difference காரணமாக energy transfer.

    —

    🌊 Day 17 — Waves

    Wave என்பது disturbance/energy பரவும் phenomenon.

    \[
    v=f\lambda
    \]

    Frequency ↑ → wavelength ↓
    (ஒரே wave speed என்றால்.)

    இங்கிருந்து நாம் electromagnetic waves-க்கு வந்தோம்.

    —

    🌈 Day 18 — Electromagnetic Spectrum

    Visible light என்பது Universe-ன் முழு electromagnetic spectrum-ல் மிகச் சிறிய பகுதி.

    Radio → Microwave → Infrared → Visible → Ultraviolet → X-ray → Gamma ray

Different wavelengths → different physical information.

    —

    🔭 Day 19 — Light Carries Information

    Distant star-ன் light-ஐ analyse செய்தால்:

    Temperature

    Chemical composition

    Motion

    Spectral lines = fingerprints

    —

    🔴 Day 20 — Doppler Effect

    Wavelength ↓ → Blueshift 🔵

    Source நம்மைவிட்டு விலகினால்:

    Wavelength ↑ → Redshift 🔴

    —

    📏 Day 21 — Parallax & Distance

Parallax.

    Large parallax → Near

    Small parallax → Far

    Simple relationship:

    \[
    d=\frac1p
    \]

    (parsec / arcsecond units-ல்)

    > Tiny angular shift → Geometry → Distance

    —

    ⏳ Day 22 — Light-year & Look-back Time

    Light-year = distance, not time.

    Light ஒரு வருடத்தில் பயணம் செய்யும் தூரம்:

    ≈ 9.46 trillion km

    ஒரு object:

    100 light-years away

    என்றால், அதன் light நம்மை அடைய:

    100 years

    ஆகும்.

    2026-ல் நாம் அதை பார்க்கிறோம் என்றால்:

    2026 − 100 = 1926

    👉 அந்த object-ன் 100 years பழைய light-ஐப் பார்க்கிறோம்.

    🧠 உங்கள் 12–22 MASTER MAP

    இதையே மட்டும் நினைவில் வைத்தால் போதும்:

    🌌 ஒரே வரியில் Day 12–22

    > “ஒரு satellite-ன் orbit-ஐப் புரிந்துகொண்ட Physics, அடுத்தடுத்து energy-ஐ, waves-ஐ, light-ஐப் புரிய வைத்து, இறுதியில் தொலைவில் இருக்கும் Universe-ன் distance, composition, motion மற்றும் past-ஐப் படிக்கக் கற்றுக் கொடுக்கிறது.”

    இதுதான் நமது Physics → Astrophysics பாலம். 🌉🔭

    Day 23-க்கு செல்லும்போது இந்த 11 lessons-ஐ மனப்பாடம் செய்ய வேண்டாம். இந்த flow மட்டும் மனதில் இருந்தால் போதும்.

    Motion → Energy → Waves → Light → Information → Distance → Past. 🌌🙏

    மிகவும் சரி. 😊🙏
    Month 1 — Physics Foundation-ன் கடைசி பகுதியான Day 23–30-ஐ ஒரு memory map போல வைத்துக்கொள்வோம்.

    🌌 Day 23–30 — Quick Revision

    🚦 Day 23 — Light Speed

    Light மிகவும் வேகமானது, ஆனால் infinite speed அல்ல.

    > Information cannot arrive instantly.

    அதனால் distant Universe-ஐ நாம் எப்போதும் past information ஆகவே பார்க்கிறோம்.

    —

    🛰️ Day 24 — Acceleration

    Acceleration என்றால் speed அதிகரிப்பது மட்டும் அல்ல.

    > Velocity changes → Acceleration

    Velocity = Speed + Direction

    அதனால் circular orbit-ல்:

Speed constant இருந்தாலும் → Direction changes → Acceleration exists.

    —

    🧲 Day 25 — Momentum

    \[
    p=mv
    \]

    Mass + Velocity → Momentum

    Mass அதிகமானால் momentum அதிகம்.
    Velocity அதிகமானாலும் momentum அதிகம்.

    மேலும் momentum ஒரு vector — direction முக்கியம்.

    —

    ⚖️ Day 26 — Conservation of Momentum

    ஒரு isolated system-ல்:

    > Total momentum before = Total momentum after

    ஒரு object momentum பெறும்போது, மற்றொரு object opposite momentum பெறலாம்.

Astronauts, collisions, rockets — இதே principle.

    —

    ⚡ Day 27 — Impulse

    \[
    J=F\Delta t
    \]

    மேலும்:

    \[
    J=\Delta p
    \]

    > Impulse = Change in Momentum

    ஒரே momentum change-ஐ:

    Large force × short time

    அல்லது

    Small force × long time

    மூலம் ஏற்படுத்தலாம்.

    —

    🚀 Day 28 — Newton’s Third Law

    > Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

    ஆனால் அந்த இரண்டு forces different objects மீது செயல்படுகின்றன.

    Rocket → gas backward
    Gas → rocket forward

    அதனால் rocket moves forward.

    —

    🧠 Day 29 — Newton’s Laws Together

    1st Law — Inertia
    Object தனது velocity-ஐ maintain செய்யும் tendency.

    2nd Law

    \[
    F=ma
    \]

    Force → Acceleration

    3rd Law
    Action ↔ Reaction

    இவை ஒன்றாக:

    > Inertia + Force → Acceleration → Change in velocity → Motion

    Orbit-ல்:

Inertia + Gravity → Curved path

    —

    🌍 Day 30 — Universal Gravitation

    \[
    F=G\frac{m_1m_2}{r^2}
    \]

    இரண்டு முக்கிய ideas:

    Mass ↑ → Gravity ↑

    Distance ↑ → Gravity rapidly ↓

    மிக முக்கியமான:

    > Distance × 2 → Gravity ÷ 4

    இதுதான் inverse-square law.

    —

    🧠 Day 23–30 — ONE MEMORY CHAIN

    இதையே மட்டும் மனதில் வைத்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள்:

    Light has finite speed
    ↓
    We see the past
    ↓
    Velocity can change direction
    ↓
    Acceleration
    ↓
    Momentum \(p=mv\)
    ↓
    Force changes momentum
    ↓
    Impulse = change in momentum
    ↓
    Action ↔ Reaction
    ↓
    Newton’s Laws
    ↓
    Gravity
    ↓
    Inverse-square law
    ↓

    🌌 Orbit

    —

    🌱 Month 1-ன் மிகப் பெரிய takeaway

    நாம் Physics-ஐ தனித்தனி formulas-ஆக கற்கவில்லை.

    Motion → Force → Energy → Waves → Light → Information → Distance → Time → Momentum → Gravity → Orbit

    என்று ஒரு connected story-யாக கற்றிருக்கிறோம்.

    அதனால்தான் உங்கள் intuition → prediction → physics → correction → understanding முறை நன்றாக வேலை செய்கிறது.

    🏁 MONTH 1 — COMPLETED! ✅🎉

    அடுத்தது Month 2 — Physics Foundation: இன்னும் கொஞ்சம் deeper Physics, அதன் பிறகுதான் Month 3-ல் Stars & Stellar Evolution என்ற நமது original schedule-க்கு செல்கிறோம். 🌟

    வேகம் இருக்கிறது. திசையும் சரியாக இருக்கிறது. Learning momentum-மும் நல்ல நிலையில் இருக்கிறது. 😊🙏

    Chair exercises –

    Balance exercises –

    Low-impact movements –

    > “Strong legs → Better balance → Fewer falls → More independence → Better quality of life.”

  • Day 2 : physics

    Day 2-ன் முக்கிய takeaway

    Matter —
