  • It’s AI chatbot usage

What’s a skill you consider basic, that most people don’t actually know how to do?

People often think using AI chatbots is a skill meant only for experts. I disagree. I believe it’s becoming a basic skill that everyone should learn.

When I first heard about ChatGPT, I simply started typing questions in English. I read the answers, experimented with different prompts, and was fascinated. Later, I tried Meta AI, DeepSeek, Copilot, Gemini, and recently Claude. Then I began using them in my mother tongue, Tamil. I was amazed that they could even help me write poems, stories, articles, good morning messages, and birthday wishes.

If I have a health concern, I can get first-hand information before visiting a doctor. Of course, I always remember that chatbots can make mistakes, so I verify important information with another chatbot, reliable sources, or my own reasoning.

I’m 66 years old, and I find AI to be a wonderful companion for learning. Only later did I discover that what I had been doing was called “prompt engineering.” I learned it simply by experimenting—without any formal training.

A friend of mine in the US, who works for a large company, told me that these days you don’t need special training to get started. If you can clearly express your question or problem in plain English—or even in your own language—you can use AI effectively.

So my message is this: don’t think AI is only for highly educated or technical people. Choose one chatbot, ask your first question, and explore. You may be surprised by how much you can learn. Once you start, it’s hard to stop. It’s like having a huge encyclopedia and a patient learning companion available anytime.

    1. Cognitive Maps –

    2. Stochastic Sampling –

    3. Compositional Coding –

    Edge AI

  • Karna from the Mahabharata

Who is the fictional character you relate to the most?

    Karna from the Mahabharata.

His unwavering loyalty, generosity, and selflessness deeply resonate with me. I believe in my friends, try to do good without expecting anything in return, and help those in need whenever I can. Even if doing so brings me hardship, I accept it wholeheartedly, because I believe that serving others is one of life’s greatest purposes.

  • AI for All really I mean it

    Thought for 4s

    Open Source,

  • Initially I didn’t but now

Do you think everything happens for a reason?

I didn’t believe this when I was younger. I even argued with a colleague about it. But as I’ve grown older, my life experiences have changed my perspective. I now believe that everyone has a purpose in life. Even those who don’t believe they have one are, in a way, fulfilling their own purpose by holding that belief. Our journeys may be different, but each person’s life has meaning in its own unique way..

    சிறிது தியானம்,
    சில நன்றிச் சொற்கள்,
    சிறு சுயஆராய்ச்சி—

    போதும்…

    வெளி உலகம் என்னை அசைக்கலாம்;
    ஆனால் என் உள்ளத்தின் மையத்தை
    அசைக்க முடியாது.

    என் மனதைக் காப்பாற்ற,
    வேறு எங்கும் தேட வேண்டியதில்லை.

    என் உள்ளேயே இருக்கிறது
    அந்த அமைதியின் சக்தி.

  • Gratitude song in Tamil translation with English

What’s a song lyric that has stuck with you forever?”My favorite is the Tamil song ‘Nandri En Swasame, Nandri Kaatre…’. I listen to it every morning as a 9-minute meditation. Its lyrics express gratitude for every gift of life—the air I breathe, the water that refreshes me, the body that supports me, and nature itself. It reminds me to begin each day with thankfulness and inner peace.”

The song “Nandri En Swasame, Nandri Kaatre…” is built around the theme of gratitude.

Rather than asking for something, it thanks the many gifts that make life possible:

Thanks to the air that sustains every breath.

Thanks to the water that refreshes and purifies.

Thanks to the body that carries us wherever we go.

Thanks for nature, life, and the countless blessings we often overlook.

Listening to it with your eyes closed each morning naturally encourages mindfulness.

Gratitude-focused meditation has been associated with improved mood, reduced stress, and a greater sense of well-being.

The song’s slow pace and reflective lyrics make it well suited for that purpose.

  • Harari’s book

If you could rewrite any book’s ending, which one would you choose?

If I could rewrite the ending of any book, I would choose Yuval Noah Harari’s 21 Lessons for the 21st Century. I deeply enjoyed the book, though I’m nowhere near 0.00001% of Harari’s writing ability.

Still, I would end it on a more hopeful note. AI is here, and there is no going back—it’s a one-way ticket. Instead of ending with uncertainty, I would add a 22nd chapter about how people can adapt: how to learn new skills, stay employable, and reinvent themselves whenever technology changes.

In programming terms, it would be an infinite loop: Learn → Adapt → Work → Relearn → Adapt again. That, I believe, is the real lesson for the 21st century.
